Galina Tarasova  began her professional training at the age of 5, studying in music school and singing at the Children's Choir of the Institution of Art Education in Moscow, Russia.  She earned her Bachelor's of Music Degree in Choral Conducting at Gnessin's State Music College in Moscow, Russia with a secondary degree in Music Education, receiving the highest honor's diploma.  She was conducting a children's choir, teaching ear training, music literature and music theory in a specialized music and arts school in Moscow.

Miss Tarasova earned her Master's of Music Degree in Choral Conducting at UCLA School of Music.  She has been teaching music and performing with her students for more than 10 years and is currently on the faculty of Metaphor School of Russian Language and Harmonia School of Music.
